Detroit Tigers’ pitcher, Matthew Boyd, in Uganda with his nonprofit organization, Kingdom Home- an organization who’s mission is to end child sex slavery through prevention. Uganda is the location where they opened up their first home to 36 girls who were rescued from child trafficking and other life-threatening situations. Between donations from Adidas and a nonprofit called Soles4Souls, Kingdom Home had enough new shoes for each child and then some, along with new clothes.
